Billing questions
How upgrades, downgrades, invoices and payment methods work.
What happens when I upgrade?
The upgrade starts immediately. You pay the difference between the old and new plan for the rest of your current period, and the new price applies from your next renewal. Like every purchase, that difference is final, so upgrade when you are ready to use the extra limits.
What happens when I downgrade?
A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current period, so you keep everything you paid for until then. Your billing page shows the date, and you can cancel the scheduled change before it happens. Anything above the new plan’s limits becomes read-only; nothing is deleted.
Do my links stop working if I leave a plan or miss a payment?
No. Links and QR codes keep redirecting through quota limits, failed payments and downgrades. Limits only pause creating new things and some dashboard features. If a renewal fails we email you on day 1, 3 and 7, the workspace turns read-only after that, and it moves to Free limits at day 30.
Do you issue GST invoices?
Yes. Every payment from an Indian billing address gets a GST tax invoice, and you can add your GSTIN and business details in billing. Customers outside India get an export invoice. Invoice numbers run in sequence for each financial year.
Can I pay in rupees, and how?
Yes. Billing in India is in INR through Razorpay, with the payment methods Razorpay offers, including UPI. Everywhere else is billed in USD through PayPal. Your currency follows your billing country.
What is a prepaid pack, and is there overage billing?
A pack is extra events or API calls you buy once, valid for 12 months. We use it only after your plan allowance runs out, oldest pack first. There is no metered overage: if you never buy a pack, nothing extra is ever charged.
What is the difference between add-ons and packs?
An add-on raises a plan limit, such as one more custom domain or seat, and renews with your plan. A pack is a one-time purchase of extra usage that expires after 12 months. Add-ons need a paid plan, and each pack lists the plans it works with.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes, any time from billing. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace moves to Free limits. All purchases are final; the Cancellation & No-Refund Policy has the details.
Do I need an account to use the Free plan?
Yes. All plans, including Free, need an account, and you verify your email before you create links, QR codes or pages. Free has no time limit and needs no card. The free tools on this site work in your browser without one.
How does annual billing work?
Choose annual and you pay for 10 months and get 12. Switching a monthly plan to annual counts as an upgrade; moving from annual to monthly is a downgrade and starts at the end of the current period.
