A static QR code bakes the destination into the pattern. If the offer ends or the page moves, the packaging, poster or menu is already printed. Static codes also cannot tell you how many people scanned.

Can I use QR code tracking for UPI payments in India?

Yes, if you choose dynamic mode. It opens when someone scans with a phone camera and is counted. A static UPI code opens directly in UPI apps and is not tracked, and the dashboard explains the trade-off.

Do QR codes expire?

Not because of quota or billing. Your codes keep resolving through quota and payment states, and they stop only if you disable or delete them or a destination is blocked for safety.
