Questions

Are the free tools really free?

Yes. You can generate and download as many codes and links as you like without paying. Tracking scans and clicks needs a URLCrop account, and the Free plan has no time limit.

Do I need an account to use them?

No. The tools run in your browser and need no account. An account is for saving your work and counting scans and clicks. All URLCrop plans, including Free, require one.

Do you store what I enter?

No. Links, UPI IDs, phone numbers and logos stay in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to our servers.

What does Save & track do?

It takes you to create a free account and carries your link into onboarding so you can set it up as a tracked short link or dynamic QR code. The details travel in the page address fragment, which your browser does not send to a server.

Are the QR codes static or dynamic?

The free tools make static codes: the content sits inside the pattern, so they never expire, but they cannot be edited or counted. Dynamic QR codes with scan analytics come with an account.

Can I use the output for business and print?

Yes. SVG downloads suit print. Always test-scan on a phone before you print in bulk, and for UPI codes pay a small amount to yourself first.
