Short links your code can depend on.

A URL shortener API with an OpenAPI spec, signed webhooks and SDKs. Create branded links and QR codes from your backend and keep them redirecting, whatever your plan state.

  • Links keep redirecting through limits and billing
  • Every destination scanned before visitors arrive
  • No raw IP addresses stored
  • Card details stay with Razorpay and PayPal
  • 99.9% availability target, record public

Links in messages cannot afford to break

An order SMS, an OTP follow-up or a receipt email carries a link that must resolve for months. Generic shorteners add ads, throttle you or expire links. Overage bills arrive unannounced. You need predictable limits and a service that keeps redirecting.

What you get

  • 01

    REST API and OpenAPI

Create and manage links and QR codes over HTTPS. The contract is published as an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, with interactive docs.

  • 02

    SDKs

A JavaScript and Node SDK keeps common calls short. Other languages follow later; the API works from any HTTP client.

  • 03

    Signed webhooks

Receive events at your endpoint, signed so you can verify they came from URLCrop.

  • 04

    Predictable limits

Daily request limits are set by plan, and you can add prepaid packs instead of facing metered overage bills.

  • 05

    Branded domains

Serve links from your own domain so messages look like they come from you.

  • 06

    Redirects stay up

Hitting an API limit never stops existing links from redirecting. Unknown destinations are scanned before visitors reach them.

First link in minutes

  1. STEP 01

    Create a free account

Verify your email, then open your workspace.

  2. STEP 02

    Make an API key

Keys are shown once and stored hashed. Scope them to what the integration needs.

  3. STEP 03

    Call the API

POST a destination and get a short link back. Use idempotency keys for safe retries.

  4. STEP 04

    Listen for events

Add a webhook endpoint and verify its signature in your handler.

Plan facts

  • API access starts on the Pro plan, with 50,000 requests per day; Business raises it to 200,000 per day.
  • Prepaid packs add API calls without metered overage. Pack prices are on the pricing page.
  • Email verification is required before creating links or API keys. There is no anonymous shorten endpoint.
  • Hosted in India, accelerated by Cloudflare worldwide No raw IP addresses are stored.

Questions

Is there a URL shortener API on the Free plan?

API access starts on the Pro plan. The daily request limit is set by plan, and the pricing page lists the current values. There is also a link shortener API and QR code generator API in the same REST interface.

Can I shorten URLs without an account?

No. Every link belongs to a verified workspace, and there is no public shorten endpoint. This keeps the service safe for the people who click your links.

What happens when I exceed my API limit?

API calls over the daily limit return a rate-limit response until it resets or you add a prepaid pack. Existing links keep redirecting.

How are webhooks secured?

Webhook payloads are signed, and you verify the signature with your endpoint secret before trusting the event.

Which SDKs are available?

A JavaScript and Node SDK is planned alongside the API. Other languages come later, and the REST API works from any language.

Are there ads or interstitials on my links?

No ads. Visitors see a warning page only when a destination is suspicious or not yet scanned for an untrusted workspace.

Where is the data stored?

Hosted in India, accelerated by Cloudflare worldwide. Visitor IP addresses are not stored; analytics keep hashed identifiers.
